We build apps, analytics, and intelligent systems.

Software that turns data into decisions.

From helping you use what’s in the fridge before it spoils to helping you read market signals, all of our tools do the legwork, show their reasoning, and leave the final decision to you, whether that’s a human call or a systematic automation.

Products

Three products, three very different users.

One for your kitchen, one for your data, and one for your bourbon shelf. Separate pages, each built for a different person.

  • Sizzlo

Status: Coming soon to iPhone · Android in development

Your pantry and fridge, finally on the same page.

Sizzlo keeps track of what’s in your pantry and fridge, so you can shop smarter and plan meals without guessing. It helps you use food before it spoils and get more out of every grocery run.

  • Status: Beta

Find the edge. Distill it. Proof it.

Proof|Edge is a data analytics and decision-support platform for prediction markets. It starts with sports moneylines on Polymarket and Kalshi. It compares what the market says with what the data says, so you can make your own call with clearer numbers.

Analytics and decision support only. Not financial advice. No outcome is guaranteed.

  • Status: Live

Bourbon news for people who read the back label.

BourbonBuzz is a steady stream of bourbon whiskey news for serious enthusiasts and connoisseurs. It skips the beginner explainers and assumes you know your bottle. It’s the news, as it lands, in one place.

More pages in the binder.

We’re building tools for people whose work runs on information and judgment. They’re in development: no dates yet, and we’ll share more when there’s something real to show.

Work with us

Need something built? We do custom work, too.

We build our own products, and we build for others. If you have a problem that needs software, data, or a steadier system, tell us about it and we’ll talk it through.

  1. Custom applications

Web apps and internal tools, taken from idea to something people use every day.

  2. Automation & workflow development

Pipelines and process tools that take the repetitive manual steps out of the work.

  3. AI-enabled systems

AI built into your apps and workflows where it actually helps: decisions, sorting, and day-to-day operations.

  4. Data analytics

Reports, dashboards, and analytics engines built on the data you already have.

  5. Secure systems & infrastructure

Architecture, cloud, networking, and deployment built to hold up in production.

  6. Technical partnership

Ongoing engineering help to scope, ship, and harden the systems you run.

How we think

Four questions, in order.

Good analytics is a ladder. Each rung answers a harder question than the last. Most tools stop at the first one. We try to climb all four and show our work on the way up.

  1. Step 4: Prescriptive

    What should we do?

Turn the answer into a recommended next move. You still decide.

  2. Step 3: Predictive

    What’s likely next?

Use what’s happened to estimate what comes next, with honest odds.

  3. Step 2: Diagnostic

    Why did it happen?

Dig into the cause, not just the coincidence.

  4. Step 1: Descriptive

    What happened?

Get the facts straight: counts, totals, trends, and what changed.

The same four questions work almost anywhere. Use them to spot customers who might leave, plan for demand, route a delivery, schedule equipment maintenance, catch fraud, or read a market shift.

What we mean by “intelligent system.”

It’s software that takes in information, makes sense of it, and recommends a decision. Sometimes it makes the decision itself, within limits you set. Then it gets better as it learns. No magic. It’s software that does the legwork.

  • Inputswhat it sees
  • Knowledgewhat it already knows
  • Reasoninghow it weighs things up
  • Learninghow it improves over time
  • Interfacehow you see it and steer it

A good one can act on its own when you let it, adjusts when things change, and keeps up in real time. Decision-support tools are a familiar example: the software does the homework and hands you a recommendation, and you make the call.

About

Separate pages. One body of work.

Looseleaf is a versatile name, and it can mean many things. The meaning we build around is the plain one: a collection of loose-leaf pages, gathered into a binder or a portfolio of work.

That’s how we work. Each product, tool, or system is its own page, made for a different person with a different job. Each one stands on its own. Together, they’re the body of work.

loose|leaf is a small studio. We make our own products and take on custom work, and we build software we’d want to use ourselves. When you write to us, you’re talking to the people who build it.
